MARCH 2019

CALLING ALL FATHERS TO RAISE A PRAYER ALTAR
Organised by our Family Life Ministry

Dates: 23 March, 27 April 2019 (Saturdays)
Time: 7.00 am to 8.00 am
Venue: Level 4, Room 7

Fathers, men of CMC, come pray as one for your families and the next generation! We are patterning after the Elijah 7000 prayer movement based on Malachi 4:5-6 - "turning the hearts of fathers to the children and the hearts of children to the fathers". This prayer movement was birthed out of recognition of a national crisis in fathering - rebellious behaviour, delinquency and crime, mental and emotional distress, failed marriages, and young people leaving church to seek validation elsewhere. Recognise this as a plan of the enemy to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). Come to seek the Lord's heart and direction for your life and for our children in the company of other men and fathers. When earthly fathers pray, our heavenly Father moves!

Time: 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm
Venue: Level 3, Auditorium 1

"Information doesn't transform cities. Conferences can't transform a city! Education can't transform a city! Having citywide ministry programs or large networks cannot transform a city. Only the presence of Jesus can bring transformation, and only individual people willing to get on the altars of prayer to contend for His presence will become the kindling for God's fire." (Quote take from Crosswalk.com)

It's time to contend for God's presence in prayer. There is no other power or resources that God has granted to the church except through the power of prayer. It is in seeking His face that we are empowered to storm the gates of hell and to take authority which Jesus Christ has taken hold of us.

Will you commit in this great endeavour - to go deeper with God in prayer for such a time as this?
It will be the best thing that we can do because He longs for our intimacy and wants to invade our world with His power and presence. He is the God of hope and we can anticipate his help and encouragement in even the darkest hour.
